Sinopse

Inside a Romanian forest, a group of scientists finds the ruins of a 13th century abbey. Upon inspecting the site, they make an impressive discovery: a gigantic underground cave, under which the abbey was built. Some biologists believe that the cave may be home to an as yet unknown ecosystem and, to explore it, enlist the help of a group of American explorers. Among them are Jack (Cole Hauser) and his brother Tyler (Eddie Cibrian), who bring together a team with some of the best divers on the planet. The group arrives in Romania with the latest equipment, including a tank that allows the diver to be submerged for 24 hours. However, when investigating the cave they discover not only a new ecosystem, but also a new species of creature.
