Paris. Delphine (Marie Rivière) is a secretary who doesn't know what to do after her vacation companion gives up on the trip two weeks before departure. She does not want to travel alone, but she has no boyfriend and is not able to make new friends. An old friend takes her to Cherbourg but, sorry, a few days later she returns to Paris. Delphine goes to the Alps, but soon returns again. Her last attempt is for the beach, but she also gets discouraged and decides to take the train to Paris. It is when, at the station, a man's eyes meet hers, which makes him think of staying.
