After a successful bank robbery, Micky travels to rescue his girlfriend Mary, who was taken from him by the Venin brothers. On the way to Paris, he meets Leon, a neurotic and dreamer, whom he and his colleagues consider an idiot. Leon then follows Micky everywhere without even knowing exactly who he is, until he finds Mary and falls in love with her. Inspired by the novel "O Idiota", by Fiódor Dostoiévski.
