A Hora da Estrela

Macabéa is a semi-illiterate northeastern migrant who works as a typist at a small firm and lives in a pension. She also meets the northeastern Olympic, a metalworker, and the two begin dating. But Gloria, a co-worker from Macabéa, steals her boyfriend, following the advice of a fortune teller. Macabéa makes an appointment with the same fortune teller, Madame Carlota, and she foresees her meeting with a rich, handsome and affectionate man.
