Chris McLean is the host of the reality show Challenge Island, set in camp
Wawanakwa, Canada. In this program 22 participants will compete in challenges based on
camping activities. The contestants are: Beth, Bridgette, Cody, Courtney, DJ, Duncan, Eva,
Ezekiel, Geoff, Gwen, Harold, Heather, Izzy, Justin, Katie, LeShawna, Lindsay, Noah, Owen, Sadie,
Trent and Tyler. All of them competing for the $ 100,000 dollar prize.
During the season there are several remarkable events: Izzy swaps teams with Katie, Heather
pretends to be friends with Beth and Lindsay for an alliance, which works until Beth is eliminated
for Heather's betrayal and so Lindsay goes out of her way to win but loses out of 8
finalists, Beth steals a Tiki doll that curses her team, Harold cheats to eliminate
Courtney, Heather has her head shaved, Bridgette is eliminated by the male alliance, Gwen and
Trent start dating, as do Izzy and Owen, Geoff and Bridgette, Tyler and Lindsay, Courtney and
Duncan and Harold and LeShawna.
In the last episode, Owen is the big winner of Challenge Island, Gwen is second and Heather
in third place. Gwen, however, wins in the alternate final, aired in Brazil by
Boomerang. In the original ending, Owen is the winner but he gives up the money to compete for $
1,000,000.00 (Which gives rise to Drama Action Lights)
