Walter Blunt (Patrick Stewart) is a British TV anchor who has one goal: to conquer the world of American Cable Channels. Through his talk show, he tries to pass on knowledge about how Americans should live, think and behave. Surrounded by channel executives, a dysfunctional writing team, numerous ex-wives and children, Blunt's only support is the servant he took with him from England to Los Angeles. Their decisions, despite being misinterpreted, are always well intentioned.
