Emily Byrne (Stana Katic) is an FBI agent who takes on the difficult mission of capturing one of Boston's most dangerous killers, but during investigations, she ends up disappearing without a trace. Six years later, she is found almost lifeless and without memory inside a hut in the middle of the forest. Upon returning to her normal life, however, Emily discovers that in addition to her husband having married another woman, living a life away from criminal cases will be a distant dream for her.
