In 1978 Aldo Moro (Roberto Herlitzka), the leader of the Christian Democracy, was kidnapped and killed by the extremist group Red Brigade. Chiara (Maya Sansa) is part of the kidnapping group. Leading an apparently monotonous life at work, Chiara secretly joins the radical leftist group. As her fascination for the utopian life grows, she starts to face problems with her fellow strugglers, due to the destructive force that she possesses all those around them.
