One day, Cornelia, a common girl from a small rural village, meets some warriors who have just set out to slay the mad dragon 'Aktail' and joins their adventure.
Born with the power of a guide, Cornelia finds a way to seal Aktail within a maze-like barrier and puts him to sleep with the help of the warriors. However, Cornelia is not recognized as a hero because she is a commoner, and she stays with Duke Devaron Astolph, who only gave her his hand.
