Melvin is a nice guy, but a total loser and unlucky. One night he travels on the desert road and helps an old man who has just had an accident with his motorcycle. The man says it is Howard Hughes, the famous and eccentric millionaire. Melvin finds it funny. But when Howard dies, Melvin receives a letter saying that he inherited part of Howard's fortune.
