Zed, an American safecracker, has just arrived in beautiful Paris and is already planning a new scam. After sleeping with Zoe, a call girl, he meets Eric, an old friend, and plans are launched for an audacious attack on the only bank that will be open on the holiday to commemorate the day of the Fall of the Bastille. However, Zed finds himself trapped in a situation beyond his control when due to heroin abuse, a weak attack plan and the discovery that Zoe works at the bank, conspire to turn the theft into a bloody attack.
