During a snowfall, executioner John Ruth (Kurt Russell) is transporting a prisoner, the famous Daisy Domergue (Jennifer Jason Leigh), whom he hopes to exchange for large sums of money. On the way, travelers agree to transport bounty hunter Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson), who has his eye on another treasure, and Sheriff Chris Mannix (Walton Goggins), about to be sworn in in his city. As weather conditions worsen, they seek shelter at Armazém da Minnie, where four other strangers are sheltered. Gradually, the eight travelers on the scene begin to discover each other's bloody secrets, leading to an inevitable confrontation between them.
