Living on a small, isolated island, Yoshiki and Hikaru became inseparable friends and spent much of their time together.
However, everything changed one summer when Yoshiki realized that Hikaru was no longer the same as before, even though he still had his friend's appearance and memories.
When asked about this, Hikaru subtly transforms into a creature from another world, threatening to kill Yoshiki if he tells anyone.
Confused by the feelings of having lost his only friend and discovering a shocking secret, Yoshiki decides to try to move on with his life while getting closer to the new Hikaru at the same time as disturbing chaos begins to spread across his island.
