During spring break, student Araragi Koyomi met the beautiful vampire Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade. Araragi saved Kiss-shot, who was on the verge of death and had his upper and lower limbs torn off, and as a consequence, Araragi was transformed into a vampire and became Kiss-shot's servant. Araragi wishes to become human again, but to do so he must recover all four of Kiss-shot's limbs. After receiving advice from Oshino Meme, Araragi prepares for battle. Awaiting him are three powerful vampire hunters: Dramaturgy, a vampire with a large physical body; Episode, a half-vampire with a huge cross; Guillotinecutter, a human who specializes in exorcising vampires.
