In Los Angeles Julian Kaye (Richard Gere), a gigolo for sophisticated, wealthy and bored women, gets involved with Michelle Stratton (Lauren Hutton), a client married to a politician. While enjoying his passion, Julian is accused of murdering another client, but due to his profession he becomes vulnerable to paying for a crime he did not commit. Even though Michelle pays excellent lawyers to defend him, Julian's situation is at the very least delicate.
