After the arrest of Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), convicted of a crime he did not commit, engineer Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) devises a plan to get his brother out of jail. Sent to Fox River alongside Lincoln, Michael begins to execute his strategy, but soon realizes that he is in the middle of a dangerous conspiracy. In order to guarantee his family's freedom, he will need to deceive Dr. Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) and associate with convicted criminals, such as Fernando Sucre (Amaury Nolasco), Theodore 'T-Bag' Bagwell (Robert Knepper) and John Abruzzi (Peter Stormare).
