The Hundred-Foot Journey

A 100 Steps from a Dream takes place in the south of France. Madame Mallory (Helen Mirren) is a respected and authoritative owner of a restaurant starring the famous Michelin guide who is increasingly concerned about a competing Indian establishment that opened across the street from her venture. She wages a real war against her neighbor, but little by little she meets her opponent's son, Hassan Kadam (Manish Dayal), a boy with a real talent for cooking. The two become friends, and Mallory begins to guide him through the knowledge of refined French cuisine, without abandoning Indian tradition, encouraging him to take flights much higher.
