Joe Cabot (Lawrence Tierney), an experienced criminal, gathered six bandits for a major diamond theft, but these six men know nothing about each other and each uses a color as a code name. However, during the robbery something went wrong, as several policemen were waiting at the scene. Mr. White (Harvey Keitel) took Mr. Orange (Tim Roth), who on the escape was shot in the stomach and will die if he does not have medical attention soon, to the warehouse where it had been arranged for everyone to meet. Soon after, Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi) arrived, who is certain that one of them is a policeman in disguise and they need to find out who betrayed them. In a climate of mutual accusations the situation is becoming more and more untenable
