In 1845, a naval expedition sets the course for the Arctic, but their captain's ego ends up leaving them stuck in the ice with no hope of a way back home. Going crazy on the island, about to starve and under the constant threat of being crushed by the ice that keeps moving, sailors still have to face a mysterious and ancient predator that seems to be chasing them in the darkness.
