In the realm of Auradon, Ben, the kindly teenage son of the Beast King and Queen Beauty, takes the throne. He allows the villains' descendants to enter Auradon for the first time to attend school, alongside the Fairy Godmother's teenage children, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Mulan. As the children of evil meet the children of good, their stories begin to incorporate encouraging themes related to self-confidence, inner beauty, responsibility, and justice.
