The Purple Rose of Cairo

In a poor area of New Jersey, during the Depression, a waitress (Mia Farrow) who supports her drunken and unemployed husband, who only knows how to be violent and rude, escapes his sad reality by watching movies. But when you see "The Purple Rose of Cairo" for the fifth time, the impossible happens! When the tape hero leaves the screen to declare his love for her, it causes a stir in the other actors in the film and soon the actor who plays the hero travels there, trying to get around the situation. Thus, it is divided between the actor and the character.
