Sinopse

The fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia, is haunted by supernatural creatures. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) are brothers who have gained vampire status and have since sought to keep their immortality a secret. At the same time, they seek to resist the urge to attack human beings. Both meet Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), a beautiful and popular student, and are soon attracted to her.
