In search of revenge for his brother being killed by a bear, the Kenai Indian ends up being cursed by the spirits of the forest and is transformed into a bear. Forced to live under his new skin, he begins to see reality from the perspective of animals. Soon he befriends another bear, Koda, but finds himself in trouble when his own brother starts hunting him.
