Looney Tunes is a series of American animated short films, produced from 1930 to 1969 and
distributed by Warner Bros. It preceded the Merrie Melodies series, and was the first animated series.
Warner Bros. The name Looney Tunes (which in Portuguese means "Crazy Drawings") is
a variation on the name Naive Symphonies, which was the title of the competing Walt Disney series of
music-based drawings. The regular characters in the series became known as "the Looney
Tunes "(often incorrectly, intentionally or unintentionally, such as" Looney Toons "), with
Bugs, Daffy Duck, Gaguinho, Hortelino Swap Letters, Tweety and Frajola, Taz, Papa-
leagues, Coyote, Frangolino, Eufrazino Pull-Fighting, Pepe Le Pew, Marvin the Martian, Lighter, and
others.
