Joey Gazelle (Paul Walker) is a mobster who orders the death of some corrupt policemen. Only, instead of throwing the murder weapon in the river, he decides to keep it in the basement of his house. Nicky (Alex Neuberger), his 10-year-old son, and friend Oleg (Cameron Bright) see him hiding the gun. When Oleg sees his stepfather Anzor (Karel Roden) beating his mother, Mila (Ivana Milicevic), he doesn't think twice: he steals the gun and kills his stepfather. Only Anzor is the nephew of a psychotic Russian mobster, who wants to find out who killed a family member at all costs. This way, the mob, the Russians and the police are after Joey, who needs to retrieve the weapon as soon as possible.
