Ally Dawson (Laura Marano) is a young songwriter, and Austin Moon (Ross Lynch), the new internet sensation who, overnight, gained notoriety by singing one of Ally's songs. Together, the two try to work on Austin's recent fame and make money out of it. While he is a guy who doesn't follow many rules and is a bit immature for his age, she is more conservative and self-conscious.
