Since her short life as a superhero ended tragically, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) has been rebuilding her career and has taken to living as a private detective in New York's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood at her own investigative agency, to Alias Investigations. Traumatized by previous events in her life, she suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and tries to make her superpowers go unnoticed by her clients. But, even trying to escape from the past, her private demons will once again pursue her, in the figure of Zebediah Kilgrave (David Tennant), an obsessive villain who will do anything to get Jessica's attention.
