Undertale is an RPG that uses a top-down perspective . In it, the player controls a child and completes objectives to progress through the story. He explores an underground world filled with cities and caves, and is forced to solve several puzzles on his journey. The underworld is home to monsters, many of which challenge the human in combat; the player decides whether to kill, run away, or befriend them.
