Community focuses on the character of Jeff Winger (Joel McHale), a lawyer who returned to university after having his diploma considered invalid by the Colorado Bar Association. The series focuses on Jeff's experiences at the fictional Greendale Community College in the also fictional Greendale suburb of Denver, Colorado, and the people he meets there. He has an obvious crush on Britta Perry (Gillian Jacobs), a student trying to get his life back on track, and receives perplexing life lessons from Pierce Hawthorne (Chevy Chase), an elderly wet wipe tycoon who has been married seven times.
