Set 20 years before the events that follow in the book "Treasure Island", by Robert Louis Stevenson, follows the adventures of Captain Flint (Toby Stephens) and his crew. The brutal attacks and looting by the sailors almost bring it to an end, and Flint seeks refuge on the island of New Providence, a kind of pirate paradise defined by both his Illuminist ideals and amazing brutality. On his journey, the Captain ends up earning a young and talkative added to his team: a certain John Silver (Luke Arnold).
