Victor Van Dorst (Johnny Depp) lives in a 19th century European village, a young man who is about to marry Victoria Everglot (Emily Watson). However, Victor accidentally marries the Corpse Bride (Helena Bonham Carter), who takes him to visit the Land of the Dead. Wishing to undo what had happened in order to finally marry Victoria, Victor gradually realized that the Land of the Dead is much more lively than the Victorian environment in which he was born and raised.
