Set after the events of the classic Graphic Novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, the series takes place in a dystopian reality and follows Angela Abar (Regina King), a police detective investigating the murder of a colleague. In this universe, police officers wear masks over their faces to protect their identities, and must discover the origin and purpose of a supremacist group called The Seventh Kavalaria, whose members wear masks similar to that of Rorschach.
