The story revolves around a period of 12 hours, when all crimes, including vandalism, homicide, fire and theft become legal, authorized by the United States government, under the command of a totalitarian political party called NFFA (New Founding Fathers of America), in a dystopian future. The series follows the events in the lives of several characters, apparently unrelated, who live in a small town. As the hours go by, each character is forced to rely on their past and discover how far they will go to survive the night.
