The story “Dusk written by Karl Kesel” and drawn by Stuart Immonen, with the final title by Jose Marzan Jr., this story was published in the magazine Os Melhores do Mundo number 2, by Editora Abril, with the title of “Anoitecer ”. Mega saga that unites all the super heroes of DC Comics in yet another universal "crisis" to be faced by heroes and villains. As in fantasy, such an event involves this main miniseries as it has repercussions in all magazines, just looking from the publisher. More unsuspecting readers may be shocked by the hairy Superman, the fruit of the numerous changes the character underwent in the 90s. For now, only one of the New Gods has died - Magtron was mysteriously killed in Countdown #48. According to Starlin, clues have already been given, in the few images that Dan Didio said recently (read here mysterious and here). Unlike the images, Starlin's intentions for the New Gods are far from metaphorical. “I kind of consider this project to be a final point in Jack's New Gods saga. Since Kirby's initial arc, other authors have written the title, with mixed results. Looking back, I'd say most of the past New Gods series were more lukewarm than good. So for me, Death of the New Gods is half in honor of Jack Kirby and half in mercy.” About the plot of the mini, the author revealed little. He urged readers to take a close look at Superman, and said that circumstances may cause Mr. Miracle Action to use an Equation to his advantage. Starlin also said that everything known about the Source is wrong. "This is the part of the story that ardent Kirby fans will just hate." The prognosis is not good for the characters. When asked about the future of Darkseid and Apokolips, Starlin's response was, "The name of the series is The Death of the New Gods, not The Death of Some of the New Gods." It may not be the end, however. In Starlin's words, “DC owns the rights to the characters. There are big names there. What do you think?". The New Gods are a technologically advanced alien race created by Jack Kirby for DC Comics. They are natives of the twin planets (created from what is left of the planet of the old gods) New Genesis and Apokolips. The inhabitants of the former are benevolent, guided by Izaya, the Heavenly Father. The other planet is ruled by the villain Darkseid.
