What Dreams May Come

Chris Nielsen (Robin Williams), Annie (Annabella Sciorra), his wife, and the couple's children make a happy family. But the young people die in an accident and the couple is very affected, especially Annie. However, they overcome the death of their children and manage to carry on with their lives, but four years later it is Chris' turn to die in an accident and be sent to Paradise. But not a Heaven with archangels and harps, because each one has a private universe and his is a painting (his wife coordinated an art gallery). While trying to understand Paradise, where anything can happen, if he only really wishes, Chris learns that Annie, overwhelmed by pain, commits suicide. That way, he will never be able to find her, as suicide bombers are sent elsewhere. Even so, he decides to try to find her, despite being warned that even if he finds her, she will never recognize him.
