After Jimmy Marcus's daughter (Sean Penn) was found dead, Sean Devine (Kevin Bacon), his childhood friend, involved in investigation or case. Like Sean's investigations or rediscover a world of violence and pain, which he may have left behind, in addition to putting him on the collision course with Jimmy himself, who wants to solve the crime brutally.
