John Reese is a former CIA agent, presumed dead by the US government, who is recruited by Finch, a reclusive millionaire, to work on a top-secret project. He developed a computer capable of identifying plans to commit crimes before they even happen and needs John to save lives at risk. The problem is that the program points to only one person linked to the crime, forcing John and Finch to identify whether that name is a victim or a culprit.
